Research, Training & Collaboration : Collaborations
Collaborative Initiatives
We look forward to developing partnerships with indigenous communities, researchers and institutions around the world working on the documentation, preservation and dissemination of endangered oral literature. Our first collaborations are detailed on this page.
Revista Iguanazul
Judith Santopietro founded the magazine Revista Iguanazul as a literary space for the preservation and promotion of the oral literatures and cultural traditions of Mexico's indigenous communities. By encouraging contributions in local languages, the magazine highlights the diversity of indigenous Mexican cultures. Revista Iguanazul also situates indigenous writers as agents of change and voices who speak for communities struggling to maintain their traditions in the face of the pressures of migration and poverty. In order to reach a wider, international audience, the World Oral Literature Project has offered to host back issues of Revista Iguanazul through our website.
